ITU Soft Sensors Lab at Texhibition Istanbul 2026

ITU Soft Sensors Lab proudly participated in Texhibition Istanbul 2026, where we showcased our latest innovations in smart textiles and wearable technologies at the ITU exhibition booth.

During the event, our researchers Yusuf Cemil Kavurmacıoğlu and Ibrahim Adel Khamis Ahmed represented the lab and demonstrated live simulations of our ERC-funded projects led by Prof. Dr. Özgür Atalay.

Featured prototypes included:

  • TexWearots - An innovative textile-based exoskeleton glove capable of grasping and carrying objects with low power consumption.
  • TexSorva - A fully autonomous and wireless haptic feedback device for Virtual Reality (VR) applications, featuring an integrated laser-cut heating system.

The exhibition provided an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the potential of our research outcomes for industrial applications and technology transfer. We would like to thank all industry professionals and visitors who showed great interest in our work.
