Assoc. Dr. Özgür Atalay's project "ReTex" has been granted support under the EU's Horizon Europe Programme, MSCA SE-2021.

The main aim of the project is to create a world-class international and intersectoral organization network. Within the scope of the project, regenerated fibers produced from recycled cotton with environmentally friendly methods will be used instead of traditional textile materials to develop sustainable electronic textile materials. There will be 11 partners from 8 different countries in the project. In the project with a budget of 814,200 Euros, the partners will exchange knowledge and skills to create sustainable textile materials. Thanks to this project, collaborative research will be carried out between different countries and sectors. With the international mobility that will be provided by the project, researchers will develop new skills, explore new research environments and enrich their career development.
